lately, i've been threatening to get a bike and start riding again, well i did it. i bought the '02 cr 250 that R1driver had for sale here on drn. i just uncrated it tonite. i haven't gotten to ride it yet, hope to do so tomorrow.

it's been over three years since my career-ending injury and since i last had a motocross bike. my ankle still doesn't work but i just want to ride. i'm excited. ;)

What happened to your ankle? What did they do to try to fix it? What state is it in now?

That is great Jay! I saw the thread for the CR and was pumped for you. I don't hardly race at all anymore after my knee being involuntarily re-located in 02...I gotta admit I have way more fun just riding and seeing different places around the country.

Sounds like we are gonna be down Way-nokie way soon...I'll give you a shout.

Congrats. I saw the "Fixinator" at the first DW I attended. It was pretty bad looking, but glad your gettin on horse again! :)

i went riding tonite at a private track. i stunk the place up. luckily, no one was there except my daughter, who is faster than me now (but not for long, by-god).

i've got along way to go.

Great news! :cool: We need to get together at River Valley in Watts OK which is just outside Siloam Springs AR and hit there Thursday night practices. That is, once I heal up from the three broke ribs I sustained two weeks ago! :yikes:

yep, i haven't been there yet. i've been trying to get kendall to go but she just wants to ride xtremeworld all the time. does river valley have lights? i always thought that they did but someone told me last week that they don't.

Not only do they have lights, but they race under them. :ride: I've only been there once for practice in June. The dirt is real nice with little to no rocks. River Valley will see more riders as Sugar Creek is closing down. Sold the land to developers, so I'll be seeing a lot of River Valley once I'm healed up. You both would like the track and it should be what, about an hours drive for you?
