I ride a 97 YZ 250, with a fatty pipe and a vforce reed block. We run Premium pump gas. I weigh about 215 lbs. I get terrible gas mileage, and I can't figure out why. At a race this weekend I burned an entire tank in just 3.5 laps at 6.5 miles a lap, roughly 21 or 22 miles!!! That's just not right. I know that bikes should get better mileage than that. Is there any simple explanation as to why this is occuring? Is it just the engine that year? Surely there's got to be something I can do.
