Our local track is very hard pack black dirt and very fast yet we don't have that many injuries. The main reason is that there is only one gapped double and that's not really built to be that way. It's a triple double triple where the real fast guys jump the gap between the 2nd & 3rd jump. If you come up short it's still forgiving. That's not to say people don't get hurt, only that it's not designed to drag the frame on the peaks of the jumps. [/QUOTE]
