Bad timing or bad Karma?

On January 31 of this year, the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute scheduled a "Night of Global Warming Information" at a local downtown eatery. Unfortunately, it had to be cancelled . . .

because of snow.

Now, figuring that a week into spring would be a safe bet, the event was rescheduled for today. This is a photo from this morning at the very same spot:

Not sure yet of the status of the forum . . .

Maybe they will use the available free time to read a book written by an actual SCIENTIST rather than a hemp clad douche-bag.


Our company website has this idiotic Earth Hour crap on the front page. While I'm a staunch supporter of LOGICAL ways to protect the environment, and do a lot of work locally to help maintain the Forest Preserve bicycle trials, this green "marketing" BS, is getting old.

So in support of this fine cause I'm planning to save all the welding I need to do on my projects for Saturday night. The Miller TIG machine lights off at 8:00pm sharp. I may let my non-catalytic converter Dodge idle in the driveway as well. :p
