Especially when it is hard to get the slide out between the carb and the frame rails. They are very easy to bend. Best way is to remove the carb completly or if there is enough room, twist it in the manifold so that you have a clear shot at installing the slide without having to fumble around the frame, cables, hoses, etc. Just my $ .02 Ol'89r [/QUOTE]
