Bent Radiator Fix

The ignition side radiator on my 01 Rm125 was bent when a tie down slipped off and my bike fell over and the bedside got the best of it. It is bent in about 1.5 inches at the center of the radiator and looks pretty nasty. The parts wharehouse where i get my stuff wants $280 for it, and I dont even want to think about how much the dealership would want. I am not going to pay that to have a pretty new radiatior, as mine is not leaking and the bike doesn't run any differently. Can it be straightened without causing more damage? I am thinking about selling or trading the bike soon so I want it to get maximum value. Are there places that will straighten it for a reasonable price?

Check some of the automotive radiator shops in you area. You would be surprised what can be done with a twisted radiator. My son destroyed(I thought) a radiator on his bike. Took it to a local shop and thet cut it, straightened it, and re-welded it. Looked like new and fit like new. Cost was $80
