Best brakes?

Who makes the best brake pads for a '98 YZ250? Should I get Semi-metallic of metallic?

It is pretty much personal preference.
Try both kinds and see which ones you like.
I think the full metal ones are kinda touchy.

I had good luck with Braking brand pads on my old Suzuki DR.EBC and stock were fair at best,but Braking offered the best control.At least for me.I will definitely use them on my KDX,when the stock ones go bad.

I would consider DP brakepads, unlike other metallics they have good feel & power w/longevity you get from a sintered metal pad. Though I ride KTM, DP's are also the choice of team yamaha off-road.
