I think Jason has been producing a couple bands, not sure though. I do know he's been playing with his new band "Echobrain" lately.

I went to that show, too. I think it was '91, first tour after the Black album came out. I think it was the "Snake Pit", in the middle of the stage. Dave and I got up early, and waited out for tickets. Got 5th row seats at the MetroCenter in Rockford,IL. Best seats I've ever had for any show. But yeah, they took songs from the And Justice album, and put together a medley. That part was a bummer.

I like the Black Album a lot. But, considering that when it was released it was already #1 on the top 40 radio stations, you almost knew that it was the beginning of the end...

Here is something funny. I have been a Metallica fan for about 15+ years now. I have pretty much owned every album at one time or another. I had countless T-shirts in school depicting the band. I even had several videos. All though I have been to about 100+ concerts in my life, I have never seen Metallica play live, nor do I want to. From every video and live CD that I have of them, I can tell that they suck live. They play their stuff about 50 times faster than recorded and and Kirk is never, ever in tune! James sounds like a fool most of the time with is mindless ranting and Lars, well Lars is always annoying. :(

Puppets is probably my fave. Justice a close second. Black was the last "Metallica" album. I'm not sure who those guys are with the short hair? Heh, not to dis them I WAS a huge fan. I saw them 5 times in 2 years back in the late 80's - once in London at the "Monsters of Rock" tour. Oh yeah, they rocked. I lost my shoes in the pit and went home barefoot.

If you want a rock band that puts thier heart into it like our metal heroes used to, check out Monster Magnet.

Rock on... :aj:
