I am a front brake junkie. I love my front brake. I like it so much I probably drag it every where I go. My question is has any one bought Brakings big wave rotor kit and what do you think. I have bled my brakes and have Ebc pads. I would like to have some more bite when i grab it though. Any info would be great. :worship:

yea, Im big into using the front brake, I am using the EBC oversize kit, with stock 03 kawasaki brake pads, I have used SBS RSI pads but the wheel locked up too easy, the stock pad and 280mm rotor work great, slows the bike down very fast and more importantly you can tell exactly when the front gets close to locking up, I have the braking wave rotors on a 530 VOR, but that bike has brembo calipers plus a 20 pound addition in wieght, so I cant compare the two, but the kx stops long before the VOR will!!!!!

I too had the EBC 280mm front rotor setup and loved it! It was a "must-have" for my old DRZ 400e, since the bike was heavy and didn't want to bleed the speed off quick enough. The EBC setup, along with EBC full-metal front pads, made all the difference in the world! I highly recommend them!

I have a 280mm rotor and stock pads on my 99 CR250 and love it. It is stronger than stock. But it is still easy to control and the feel is great. I have more faith in the oversize than stock, especially when trying to scrub off speed down hills.

In addition to the big rotor, get yourself a stainless steel brake hose to further improve the feel.

I put a 260mm Am-Pro front rotor on my 00 KX250, it made quite a difference on what was otherwise a weak front brake system.

The TM came with a Braking 270mm rotor, three words for you.. One finger stoppies!

Its money well spent, but I don't know if the wave feature is worth all the extra money.

Thanks for the info. The stainless brake line is on the way. Also new rotor and pads. If I'm lucky I'll only go over the bars once or twice!!!
