Black oil

After changing the tranny oil in my cr250, i checked it after about an hour ride time, and the oil was already black. Is that normal?

Usually when that oil turns dark in color it's just the material from the clutch mixing in with the oil giving it that color... Also it could get cloudy right away if the oil is not changed regularly... Usually there is just allot of clutch material, and tiny bits of metal material left inside the motor that has worn off of all the moving parts with in the engine... So when you put new oil in, it looks dirty right away, but it is still good that you changed it even if it looks black almost right away...
