We have ordered from them for years now. Never had any problems. Everything always came on time.

Bob's is one of the best shops we deal with over the phone. where we live I can usually order and have it the next day.
Talk to Chili he is a Bobs regular and will have a better idea of their shipping to Canada.

Bob's is a good outfit to deal with, never had any issues. I usually pick my stuff up rather than have it shipped though as I pass right by there a few times a month. I have had them ship a few odds and ends and had no troubles. When I get them to ship I usually call and make the arrangements to make sure it gets shipped via the US postal service instead of UPS as they kill us canucks with brokerage fee's.

I ordered from there last night. Depending on how this goes, which I think will be great (based on your opinions) will determine whether or not I order from there during the MX season. They seem to have a better variety and well designed site as opposed to the other sites I've been on. I hate RoyalDistributing's set up, having to go through the online virtual catalogue. :|

Bob's has the best bargains for left-over stuff. If you don't mind wearing last seasons stuff, Bob can save you big dollars.

Welp,

I contacted them about shipping via US, and they said it'd still be international shipping, and they can't guarantee it for Christmas.

Placed the order 9 30 Friday night. As of Wednesday I haven't received anything.

Even if it is international shipping, how long can it take to ship a package from Minnesota to Manitoba? Unless it's held up at the border. :whoa:

How long should it take, anyone know?

Bob's has been around forever and they have always been first rate. The people have always been very helpful and knew their stuff. The advice they have given me in the past hasn't been to make me pay more but to get me a product that better fit my needs even if it cost less.

I highly recommend them.

There is your answer. Canada Customs get's it and they will sometimes sit on it for days or weeks before they get the time to inspect and release. I'm still waiting on a package oldguy shipped me on Tuesday of last week from WI. That's the sad part about ordering from the USA is that neither the shipper or the company doing the shipping has any control over how fast it clears customs.

Probably would have been faster to drive down and pick it up!

 Sadly in most cases that is correct, may cost slightly more in fuel though. Shipping from the USA to Canada for me is a last resort when I can't have it shipped to a buddy in the states and pick it up my self when I go by on a trip.

I was talking to a friend of mine this weekend. He works for Bridgestone and does tires for the pros.

I asked him how it went in the Canada rounds.. He told me he wasn't havin anything to do with that crap. Way too much BS for his taste.

Told me they fly everything up these days to avoid lengthy waits at the border.

If everything is in order crossing the border is no big issue. For most of the teams guys and photogs etc coming across where they get hassled is they don't have a work permit and the government wants to make sure they get their slice of the earnings if it's earned in Canada, no different than the hassle us canucks get if we try to come down to work in the USA. Likely they ship everything and then all the guys just say they are coming for pleasure/vacation to watch the race which leads to less hassle and paperwork.

The problem lies in the shipping of goods where you aren't there with it as it seems like that department of Customs works on a much slower schedule than any other I've ever encountered.

On another note those guys doing tires are monsters, I know two of the guys working out of the Dunlop truck and I can't imagine changing that many tires a weekend, at least outdoors vs SX.

Rory isn't a big guy, but he sure can change a tire.

He's a brute with a set of spoons!

Dude can ride too... I have quite a few shots of him tearin it up on his old Yammy 490.

Got the package yesterday. Every thing was there, as planned.

Ordered it Friday Dec 15. Got it Tuesday Jan 2.

It probably would of been shorter if the holidays weren't thrown into the shipping schedule.

Over all, pretty happy and they'll be my first choice from now on.

Oh, and they threw in some free stickers. That's always a plus.
