bogging down :( Need help!!!

i have a 1985 cr250 and after it was warmed up i decided to open it up and it would bog down when i kicked the power band in, so i opened it up slower and would rev right up, I then put it in neutral and i can open the throttle quickly and it revs up with no problem, only when its in gear it does this. i dont know why but it was like 30 out that day. so i dont know if that could be a factor or not???

Did it do this at low, middle or high in the RPM range? Sounds like you are too lean to run at 30 degrees. Go one step bigger pilot and main jets and see if that cures the problem.

it got bout 2 weeks of riding time on the new piston and rings.
