I just noticed the most eerie thing today: I have a CD my daughters boyfriend bought for me to listen to a couple months ago, and I vaguely remembered the title song was "bombs over broadway", so I pulled it out of the car.
Here's the freaky part: The disc was released in late 2000 by a punk band called 'Squad Five*O'. On the cover is a picture of broadway burning with the WTC prominately in the middle. There are multi-engine bombers flying between the skyscrapers.
The first line of the song is: "Midnight, New York city
Broadway, going up in flames,
ground zero, big city,
big apple, swallowed by the flames-"
If you're curious to see the disc, it's on Tooth & Nail records.
Freaked my family out when they saw it. Anyone else out there have this?

I myself have not heard the song nor seen the cover, but I am aware that Squad Five*O is a christian punk band, and would not find it surprising to find a positive point in the song as well.

Tooth & Nail records is also a christian record company and does not sign non-christian bands. Just telling you what I know on the subject,

Seems a little graphic for christian rock band? Although I am not in the habit of seaking out christian rock bands so I have no frame of referance.

You'd be suprised...
There's no limit to what a chrisitian rock/punk band can sing about,
Get on one of the various music sharing utilities, and search for the song "Little Gay Man", my Calibretto 13, it's a good laugh.

And bands like Zao, you can't even tell what they're saying, even though they say each word slowly usually about 5 seconds per word. lol, check them out too!

I'm more of a POD guy myself...
