Brake pads are ALWAYS in contact with the rotors with a disk brake system. Are your pads just touching, or are they dragging your bike to a stop without pressure applied on the pedal?

Do the pads drag mor eafter they are replaced. I am really saying I replaced mine today. The pins were very corroded. I polished them. The slide areas were also full of dirt. I cleaned them and they work smooth.

The brakes do drag slightly. I wonder if this is normal for new pads that have not mated to the rim?

how do you straigten/flatten a bent brake rotor? Its on a 2000 rm125.The rotor is bent.you can tell because it movs the caliper side to side and slows dow the wheel on the bent spots.
