brake problems

ok so i changed all the brake fluid in my bike cuz it was lookin pretty dark.. i emptied as much fluid as i could. now im having trouble getting the fluid back into the lines.. i dont have a brake bleeder so im doing this old school. anyone have any tips or hints to make this a lil easier. anything helps, THANKS!

I know this thread is a little stale but what I did is buy a cheap ($25?) plastic hand operated vacuum pump thingy with hoses, adapters and a catch can on the bottom to suck the fluid out from the bleeder at the wheel (I'm assuming it has a bleeder). It works great but don't step on it! Doohhh! :|
