breaking in process???

i was wondering what the best way to break in my blaster. i just did a full top to bottom rebuild. what kind of gear oil should i run in it?? should i mix it a little richer?

I run Klotz at 40:1.

there are many ways to do the run-in procedure...
some say to decrease the gas\oil ratio (put more oil in the gas)
some say to jet richer
some say to let the bike in idle for some time...
etc...

everything of this have good things and bad things
what i usually do is: first warm up the bike in the lowest idle i can achieve and then let it cold
for the first 10 min jet richer in the air screw (maybe 1\2 turn in) and the needle (raise the needle 1 noch) and go very easy in the throttle
for the second 15min (after the bike is totaly cold) the same...
third 15min an increase in speed and load, but not too much...
then i just give it a good ride without load and rev the bike, just ocasionaly...
after that, jetting normal and start to increase progressive load and speed to normal :ride:

just be aware that you cylinder have a iron bore and this is more sensitive to the run-in process.. :cool:
