There is excellent riding in Kamloops at a place called greenstone to the west heading back towards Merrit. There is also great riding in Salmon Arm above the industrial park. If you are in Vernon there is riding out of Lavington up near Becker lake. The riding in the Kamloops area is so good that there have been a few national cross countrys there. If you get the chance the riding in Bear creek is some of the best in BC. It is located on the westside of Okanagan lake near Kelowna.

My family is vacationing on the 4th of July (ironically in canada) on little shuswap, my wife and I will probably bring the toys. It looks like there are places to rent atv's up there too.
Kamloops has some awesome riding. Like mentioned above, Greenstone mtn is really good. Never ridden in the Shuswap before, but it is the houseboat capital of Canada!
