I broke my Fibula about 2 weeks ago. (See 'Broken Ankle Blues') Believe me, your not the only one to try to hurry this along but there just isn't a quick way as you'll see from my post. I know it sucks, I
wanted to race the Sparta GNCC 9/11 but have been told NO WAY by everyone, Doctors and DRN subscribers alike. So, take some time to clean your RM and let it heal correctly.

Unless your name is Ryan Hughes and your job or a national title is on the line, I'd sit this one out. If you need more persuasion, check out Ryno racing on a snapped Fib in Great Outdoors II. After watching the movie, I'm still not sure whether he's a complete stud or a total idiot. I have my doubts as to whether or not he's even human.

Yeah I own the great outdoors II and Ryno is the man. I think this is why I try to rush things I also thought about the dirt track racer who sawed his cast off in on any sunday to race and said I did this because its what I like to do. :bang:

I shattered an inch of my tibia back in April and all three of my surgoens are amazed at the progress ive made, I am supposed to wak out of the doctors office in sept of this year, and everyone, doctors and nurses, all agree that it was due my bone growth stimulator. Mine is from regenteck and I high recommend one. But just hope your insurance covers it at $4000.00. Good luck.

I broke my tib and fib way back when i was in sixth grade (now im graduated) and it took two casts and a external fixator and 4months for it to heal properly. so to each case i think it is a little different, and depends on what you do to help the process a long
