Heres the problem. After a days ride on the track the inside of my knee's, the part that touches the bike are bruised on both knee's. I do wear thor knee/shin guard cheap things. But sometimes they might slip down or somthing and i dont really always have the time to pull them back up into position. Im just wondering why no one else has this problem. I think i may be doing something wrong?

when i first started riding about a year and a half ago i had the same problem, i would squeeze the gas tank so hard with my knees (on turns mostly)that after a day of riding the inside of my knee(s) would bruise(usually only left tho) but i havnt had it happen in probably 6 or 7 months. im not sure why it quit tho(maybe more experienced) so your not the only one! good luck!

I wouldn't worry about it. I bet it is the shape of the rad shrouds that are doing it. I never had that problem until I raced a 01RM250 . Because of the shape of the shrouds I would bruise the inside of my knees, from squeezing the bike over rough terrain. I no longer have the RM or bruised knees. Tim

You might try a set of neoprene knee supports, the kind that wrap around your knees. Most watercraft and waterski stores carry them, and they would provide some padding to the inside of your knees.

^^This is a good idea, especially if the shape of the guard is causing the issue.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, and more when you're riding. Take a one-a-day everyday. This will probably help a lot more than it sounds like it would...

I would try some new knee pads. I wear AXOs (I forget the model) but they are the big ones with a single axis rotation (similar to the Fox Pivot, but much much better). I swear by these knee pads and they will NEVER slip down to expose your knee.

The inside of knees get bruised as well. I always bang my knees at least once or twice a race. I've learned to live with them know. I found that i bang my knees when i get tired and don't grip or squeeze with my knees.
