Camping in Baldwin area

I'm planning on staying at the Bowman Bridge campground west of Baldwin this weekend, looks like I'll be solo. Of course my abilities to plan ANYTHING lately have not gone well, but if anyone wants a riding partner at place like Little O, Lincoln Hills, LIttle Manistee, I'd appreciate a post.

Hey Mark. Are you camping with others at that campground this weekend? If not I have a proposal for you. I will be at my In-laws Cabin this weekend. We have a group coming out there. It is on Landon Road south of 10. Basicaly just a little south west of Branch (whats his faces) A bunch of my friends and my wife will be there friday night. I will be there Saturday afternoon after Digger gets done with his racing at Big Air.

I got a call from Cmore and he was interested in riding Little O maybe Sunday. I wasn't planning on bringing my bike up with me (I know I know). Sounds like Cmore has some folks coming up from down south for a ride this weekend. Maybe you can hook up with him for a ride.

If you want to camp and ride outta my camp you are more than welcome to. If you are camping with others bring them along also. There is plenty of room for campers and tents on the property. I even have a kids single track set up in the woods around the cabin.

The cabin is only a mile south of the Big O trail on Landon Road. So you can ride right from the property to the trail.

Hey I will one up that offer. Anyone else wants to come up camping at my place this weekend is more than welcome. I know its short notice. But the more the merrier. Something to think about.

Here is a map of the Big O. On the west side you can see a circle and arrows with the words "Property is here". It's on the west side of Landon road 1 mile south of the Big O trail crossing on Landon road (right at the curve in the road)

The cabin is a Green trailer park style trailer in a field surrounded by trees. There is a white tubular steel gate at the entrance.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Just so ya know. Some of the campers will be heading out for a bit Saturday morning to watch my kid race but will be back at camp around 1-2:00 in the afternoon. That is also when I will be getting there.

Woodsy, we played phone tag today, I'll e-m you some medical-related questions.

Are you up for riding on Saturday morning? I'm pretty sure I can do that, how about if I meet you at White Cloud or Holton for a dual sport run north in the early am?

Now, you see, you have the rule of "tag you're it" off a little. I started this game last week Thursday, left a message, thought you'd get it. So, Thursday to Thursday is 7 days, so I have 7 "tag points". You said you have what, 2? One of those is erased by my second message, and yes, I'll give you the one hang-up with no message. BUT, you were online for a good hour when I did try to return your call right away. This is allowable in the "Tag You're It" rulebook under article 7, sub-note 23-B, page number 384. So that counts as well for me as one point.

Soooo buddy, I see the points as 7 for me, and a big goose-egg for you. :fft:

Mark otherwise its sounding like there is a ride forming this weekend with my group. Not sure of the details yet but I am betting that they will be on Little O either Sat or Sunday. I can get ya more info if ya are interested.
