I was wondering if I could use a wiseco wrist pin in a OEM Kawasaki piston. The wrist pin is a little short of the circlips. I am not sure how critical this is. Does the wrist pin have to be almost touching the circlips on both sides. I would say that the wiseco wrist pin is a bout a 1/16 th or little better short on each side. The reason I would like to reuse this wrist pin is that there is only about 45 minutes of use on it, it fits really snug, and the biggest thing is that there is no dealer close, which turns into more waiting time for them to mail it. This bike was rebuilt by some guy, puts a complete top end on and doesn't even look at the bottom end, gets three short rides and the big end bearing went. If he wouldn't of scuffed the piston I could of reused that probably.

Do you have a service manual? If the pin measures within allowable tolerances, you should be okay.
