Hi !
So I took of the cyl and piston, here`s some pics of the piston, cyl and head. Please have a look and tell me ur u pinion. The piston looked almost unused besides a little "wearage" on the exhaust side, the two "holes" was a little deformed, but I got them fine with a needle.

that piston looks like its on its way out bro, i suggest you need a top-end re-build, my old piston from my 2000 yz125 looked brand new i had it in there for a year! im suprised, same with this other one i got in it, but im gonna re-build it soon

Ok. well, **** ! don`t have enough money for a complete rebuild, I will fit the piston :/ will replace the ring and ofcourse all the gaskets. PS, the piston wasn`t clean when I took the pic, was full of oil from my fingers while I took the pic ! :) I could even feel the "stripes" from the "making" of it (hehe, that`s a bad sentence,) . Well.

I'd rather let my bike sit untill I got money for a complete rebuild then put that piston in it.

hi again. I think the reason for the "not use" comments may come from a very dirty piston. I cleaned it today, will post new pics tomorrow. Look at it.

I don't think I would put that piston back in man, the exhaust side is worn too much. You could put it back in, but who wants to risk it? If you're already spending the money on rings and full gaskets then why not spend the extra $50 on a piston? I would just wait and get everything, just my two cents.
