Carb Vent Tubes

I am changing my carb vent tubes and was wondering if there is any specific length (min or max) that they have to be. Do they have to be equal length etc? The carb is a Keihin airstriker.

They don't have to be equal length. Just make sure they don't get pinched anywhere. The best idea is to make them longer than they need to be, then trim off the ends once you get everything installed.

It's also a good idea to cut the ends off at 45 degrees. They won't collect dirt/mud as quickly.
