This could be construed as a Product Review post, however, I think it's semantics at this point and I'd like to proceed, thank you in advance...
I did the bottom end on my son'e YZ125 this weekend, it was the first I've done on a YZ (which has no case gasket). Anyway, he picked up Yamabond 5 at the local shop. When I opened the tube and saw what came out I got a little nervous. The stuff was pretty thin and black, like rubber cement. It spead on thin and blobbed in areas. If you tried to go back over it it pulled off just after seconds of set time. I remember a Threebond cement that was light grey, spread on like smooth peanut butter, and was easier to work with. Any thoughts on the Yamabond and can someone tell me what they use. The bike seems to run ok, I just felt the sealant was "just wrong", probably just me and my old school attitude.
Thanks, John
