[QUOTE="COLEMANAPP, post: 765481, member: 28476"] There's very little gravel, some slabs of rock, rocky ledges, softball to medicine ball rocks sticking up outta the ground and some loose rock. Get that trail map from the forest service. Its marked pretty good. It shows topography. If you pick a black trail, it usually means 1' to 4' rock ledges, you can either pick your way through these areas by crevices in the rock or you have to bunny hop up/down the faces. There's plenty of blue/green marked trails too. They do have these paving stone small jumps or whoops that they put in on the hills to control erosion. If wet, they are very slippery. They can be alot of fun too. Oh yeah, you have to stop by Kays ( a grocery/gas station near the entrance of the park) to get your day pass. They sometimes have maps there too. If its wet and you see any big puddles, go around, not through. I started to wheelie over one and I think I hit an ATV that was under the water. Chadwick does not disappoint, its worth the trip.
