loosen the back axle nut and move the adjustors to loosen or tighten the chain. You've probably got snail cam adjustors, which should be pretty easy to work out. Just remember to adjust it the same on both sides, and check your tension with your weight on the bike. you should be looking at about 50mm of slack measured vertically at the centre ie half way between front and rear sprockets.
