i have had my moto tassanari reed cadge seince last winter and i ordered new reeds thinking i would put them in this winter (and sometimes that stuff gets backordered and i hate that)whell i got them the other day and i disided to put them in now good thing i did my reeds were wrecked two pedals were missing good sized chunks and four more were frayed (probuly why i noticed my bike running crappy and it seemed to be getting slower)i was running them for the last half of the summer in low tension (moto tassanari said this is fine to do with this bike enev though they put a warning in all boxes about shorting reed life in low tension)they wern't kidding about shorting the life so my advise is especaily if you are running your reeds in low tension check and replace them often.my new reeds are now in high tension lol.

i just got some v-force reeds for my cr125 and was planning on putting them in on low tension, because ive heard thats where you feel the biggest differance in performance. Was there a bigger defferance for you between low and high? which would do you like the best? I think i would prefer low for a little more torque, but at the expense of going through reeds like that it doesnt sound worth it. i am anxious to put them in and try them out, but unfortunetely my bottom end is *STILL* being worked on.
thanks for the info

my bike is a 250 so it might be differnt but i did like it better in the low tension it felt like the bike had more low end power with a little less hit it made the bike easer to ride but it does pull longer in high tension. try both but if you run low tension just check them often thats all.
