Ding Ding...round two of the SE & TRA series is about to begin. This time in Greensboro, GA. I know that this area can be pretty tight, but nothing like the Clanton ride. I thought that I was signed up for an enduro. This rides had some tight stuff last year, but it also had places to pass and get passed. I had to pull out of the Clanton race with a blown front tire after two laps, but now I am prepared for this one. I am getting new front and rear sneakers on the KTM, a Scotts damper, and two heavy duty tubes so the blow outs are fewer and further in between. I also finally shaved almost two inches off of the bars. Those trees were jumping out like crazy in Alabama.

I am going to Maxxis tires a shot and see how they hook up in the GA clay. If I'm not happy---back to the Michelins I go.
I hope to see all of the familiar faces at this race, and look forward to redeeming myself after the last ride. It sucks to go from 2nd to 11th due to bike problems. Trey from Macon---I'll be looking for you. Jeramiah, you too.
I got some new photo equipment in and I look forward to using it for the first time in Greensboro. Racedaypix will set up at a river crossing or a good mud hole for this one. This track is a bit more accessible than Clanton. See you at the races.
