anyone ever use bleach or acid or something to bring their
two stroke tank that was once white back to original color.
I am sure its from two stroke oil leaching into the plastic over
the last year in the 2002 ktm.
Thanks for any and all responses.

I have a 4 stroke with a yellow tank that used to be white. I have had decent results with bleach. I did use some oxy clean on with the same results and less smell. I have just given up.

I think you're wasting your time. The discoloring is comming from the fuel on the inside. The color is all the way through the plastic. BUT, I'm still open to suggestions. Oxy Clean, huh?

If you look at the catalog on the White Brothers site there is something called "Tank Skins" or something like that. Looks like a cover that goes over the tank to give it that daisy fresh look.

I've had a little success using ordinary cleanser. Not Comet, but the cheap abrasive stuff. I think it just takes the top layer off. It helped my CR tank.
