Clutch Basket Nut

New to forum. First time into removing KDX 220 clutch basket. Any ideas on getting nut off!! I assume everyone has experienced this. KDX is different that other baskets I've removed. :bang:

Either a flywheel holder or an impact wrench will do the trick. You can pick up a flywheel type holder at your local Scmucks auto supply for about 14.00.

Best option (also for tightening again) is the impact wrench like garages use to fit wheel nuts!

Got it done. With impact. Ran 1" bar through rear sproket and across swing-arms. Used softeners of course. Came off almost immediately.

grabb it plyers are greaaat - try dennis kirk,and rocky mountain- some clutches still need the plyers to hold the inner hub--
they work for other things 2
