So i got my 360exc all apart and i discovered that the giant gear on the back of the clutch basket is missing a couple teeth. Anyone know what this gear is called specifically? Plus i would like a reference to where i can find one other than KTM (rip off). If you or anyone you know has one laying around, it would be cool.

I have never saw that gear offered in a aftermarket for any dirtbike. I do believe maybe some of the 250 and 300's share the same clutch. Good luck.

Not to be rude or anything, but you didnt exactly answer my question and no one on thbis site seems to give a straight forward answer. What is this thing called? Is it a Outer clutch hub gear? Is it the primary gear? Please dude, im gettin ticked off with this bike, only reason i bought it was because it was cheap.

The big gear is the outer clutch hub gear, as I know it. If your looking for one, good luck, It seems to me that those aren't easy to break, unless it stopped when the bike was running, Like if a tooth jammed it. I dont think you can buy that gear, and its a KTM, they have aftermarket parts stock.

Ya i found a tooth that was stuck under the the shift linkage right under the clutch, prolly the reason i couldnt shift, now i can find all gears. It really bums me out though because it chipped a tooth off the outer clutch hub gear, plus the one that runs the water pump, and it gouged the hell out of my primary crank gear. I did manage to find a crank gear for 10 bucks off ebay, on its way in the mail. But it doesnt do me much good because as you said "good luck" and your right its about impossible to find that clutch gear without buying a whole clutch. The water pump gear aint cheap either, so i'm looking at atleast 300 bucks before i can ride the thing again, who knows when im gonna have the spare cash. Now im hoping nothing on the other side of the case is in the same shape. Thanks for the advise
