My clutch drags and its hard to shift gears especially when cold.
I have tried 20wt oil and synthetic oil.
Any info on dragging clutch?

The kdx clutch will certainly be 'hanging' if you're trying to push it around (engine off) with it in gear/clutch pulled.

But it should shift fine under power.

For example, I run a multi-vis motor oil for the tranny. Temps to well below freezing and my bike shifts just fine under power.

Most common reason (considering the cable is correctly adjusted) clutch will 'hang' or drag is a chewed up basket. The plates get 'stuck' in the grooves. You can file those grooves out if they aren't too bad.

Or you can put in a hinson basket. They're only some hundreds of bucks! ;)

You might have a problem with the actuating rod, too. Even with a correctly adjusted cable, if the rod face is goobered you won't get the amount of movement you want.

Heck....I don't even use my clutch unless I'm stopped and in gear...and my bike shifts just fine!
