The free play is good, and I took the cover on the left side off and you can see it actuating a rod that looks like it goes into the transmission, I took the right side cover off and drained the fluid, the fluid looked O.K. just a little milky and I was going to change it after this ride anyway, but it didn't look nasty. With the clutch cover off you can see the very most outboard plate move in and out but none of the others and it is still stuck in gear unless you move it to neutral. Anyone have any ideas, I can take pics or something if that would help anyone come up with an idea, It just doesn't make sense that it worked all day and then when I bring it home something is messed up, it has to be something simple. And I didn't have the straps going over the cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [/QUOTE]
