Bought a cobra ISDE silencer to replace my way old and neglected stock scilencer (not rebuildable). I bought the product because they advertize that it is used by Suzuki's DRZ ISDE Team. Well they obviously are not using the one you buy from the store because it is several db louder than stock not the "scant louder" they advertize on their site. I suppose that with some loose repacking I may be able to reduce the noise but i am concerned that if I ride another enduro I may not get through inspection.
On the plus side my bike is much more responsive than it was and the silencer/spark arrester is much lighter.
I didn't have much choice on the silencer I could buy, most companies overlook the older non XR 4-strokes (Yamaha TT 350) and Cobra didn't. I have heard louder silencers too but if you are saying it is an ISDE model it should be quieter than the 94 db limit on the race.
Good: fit and finish, availiable for many makes and models
