cold fired

Has anyone had a 2 cycle engine rebuilt that was cold fired? What does this mean?

Do you mean cold seized? That is when you start up your bike and take off ripping without warming the engine up enough and the piston expands from the heat faster than the cylinder and it expands and seizes up in the bore . Usually means you need a new piston maybe cylinder . GOOD LUCK

The term cold fired was used in regards to a engine rebuild. New top and bottom end,cases matched and cold fired. Must be slang for who knows what
