colorado jetting

I have a 2002 KDX200 and mostly ride inbetween 6000-9000 feet. My jetting is currently at 148 main, 42 pilot, and needle is one notch from top. Does anyone else ride at these altitudes? If so, what jetting do you use? I recently dropped my pilot from 45 to 42 because of oil I'm getting on my rear fender (FMF silencer). Hopefully this will work, I haven't ridden it yet.

Based on my limited experience--one week this summer--you will probably wind up with a 40 pilot. The 148 main probably ok. Great riding up there!

Where in Colorado? I'm looking to do some riding later this year. I'm in NE New Mexico, near Clayton.

Colorado Springs. We do our riding mostly near Woodland Park and Pueblo during the winter months.
