How much compression should a 95 YZ250 have just rebuilt it and it just dont seem right. Whem trying to start to it just makes like a spuff out of the exaust but does not start it was running fine yesturday and even started up this morning and when it died I let it sit for awhile and it started again let is sit again for about an hour and still does the same thing any suggestions thanks for your time.

after kicking it over about 5 times with tester conected getting right at 180 lbs per square inch

Well I wasn't to sure untill I tested it it just seemed week but I have scence found the problem the proplem the timeing had went way off but i really thank you for looking thanks again

thats right about what a 250 is supposed to be. A buck 25 is about 160, shoot my old 125 was 190 kicked like it too wow

I checked my compression when it was 0deg celsius in the garage and I got 190PSI w/ 15 hours on the rebuild.

So as it gets warmer, you get better comp right? :)
