Congrats are in order for Matt. He won the Open C class in TORO this year. He never finished worse than 5th. I tried to give him a run for his money (I beat him twice) but his consistency was too much for me to overcome this time.

Well done Matt. It was more fun losing to you than it would have been losing to just about anybody else.

Thanks to both of you for the show and congrats to both. I had a great time watching you two battle it out.

JMD, I realize this was directed towards Matt, but I figured I'd throw my 2 cents in as well...

Favorite: Muenster. I loved the tight woods. The track was about 6 miles of wide open grass track followed by about 6 miles of tight woods. It was so much fun.

2nd Favorite: Oak Hill (the WORCS race). It was really fun, especially because it was different. It was very short, with a lot of laps. The track was real open and the mx section was tame enough for it to be fun.

Also, had it not rained all night on Saturday, the BSGP would have been tied for my 2nd favorite; however, the mud made it a total slop fest and not much fun. Wish they woulda cut back some of the over grown stuff though.

Brian's place gets really slippery when it's wet, doesn't it? That black mud is nasty. I helped mark the track a couple weeks ago and rode a few laps just for fun. It was a bit wet then, too, but not like last weekend. Congratulations to both you guys for your success in the series.

Thanks Eric, I really appreciate it. It was mucho good racing against you, Marshall, Brandon, Luke, Scott and Nick. I started the season off just hoping for a top ten at Oakhill, and after I won that I just kept coming back.

Either Oakhill or Bonita is a toss up as favorite track JMD, Muenster is great and I loved the high speed stuff, but I always have this bad feeling at Muenster. Bad voodoo for me at Muenster.

Hey, it wasn't me who checked out at the start of the last race.. It was Brandon. That guy just came out of nowhere the last 2 races and started riding really well. His best finish before Bells was like 8th, then he gets 1st and 2nd in the last two. I'm sure he'll be some good competition next year.

Gonna race the B class?

Congrats on the win. Thank your lucky stars that you didn't have to race against me.

I might have to try to ride the TORO series next year, if I can stay healthy. I've ridden a few events -- Muenster, Extremeland, BSGP, a couple others I can't remember -- and they are always fun. Congratulations again.
