Cornering with a heavy gas tank

hey guys, im currently running a CR250 with a 3.2 gallon Clarke gas tank. i love the mileage, but turning gets a little sketchy sometimes. is there any way to correct the push? or should i just lean farther and go faster? thanks

Dude you think that's bad .... Try riding a klr 650 w/an all steel 6 gallon gas tank that's full of gas, most of which is above you knees!! On dual sport tires no less!!! don't even think about going near mud!! :eek: Wish i could help you out but when i'm on the klr i try not to get lured to far into the woods. some times i fall victim to the siren's song tho :debil:

Ditto! Whenever I do anything with the KLR I am thinking about when the last time was that I filled the tank. It's amazing how much difference six gallons in your lap makes. The only good thing about having that much gas, besides the miieage, is how much it dampens the horrible vibrations of the 650 at interstate speeds.
