cr 125 engine interchangeability

will an engine from a 1995 cr125 just happen to fit in a 2000 cr 125 frame?

I think the engine fits but the pipes dont.

what about the swing arm? will it fit on the 95 engine or can you use the 95 swing arm?

Im failry sure the bottom end hasnt really changed over the last decade.At least externally.

what about the 95 suspension and the 2000 frame

Not really sure what you are trying to acheive?the linkage is different and so is the shock i think.The 2000 suspension can be made better than the 95.

o ok. i have a 1995 cr but i would like to have an aluminum framed cr but im to poor.

Not trying to be unhelpful but it probably will cost more to do that way.

See if you can find a person that races shifter carts that wants a 125 motor... then go out and split the cost a 2000 or so... you get the frame, he gets the motor. Just a thought....
