these are 2 01 cr 250 neddle jets h2-72 and h1-71 wich one of these neddles is the richer jet thanks.

The h1-71 needle is the richer of the 2. I hope you don't plan on using either of those jets in an 01' with a stock nozzle jet . If so, It'll be so rich the bike will be hard to ride.

no im using it in a 02 cr250. i have been running a h2-72 but need a 1/2 size richer. i just wasnt sure if 01 jets got richer with smaller #. am i correct that the h1-71 is a 1/2 step richer

The h1-71 needle is 1.5 clip positions richer than the h2-72. The h1-72 is a half clip richer than your h2-72 needle.

H1 series needles are half clip richer than there equelevent H2 series needles.
