CR 500 help

I need a flywheel for an 86 cr 500 but cant find one. Does anybody know if one off of another year or even off of a 250 will work. Im pretty sure the one i have is wrong because my bike wont start and i put a timing light on it and the marks are about an inch apart, to much to turn the stator. I know the bike is supposed to be running when timing but even when its off and just foot cranking should the marks be that far apart?Help appreciated!!!

sounds like you sheered the key on the crank. pull the stator and make sure the key is in one piece. if not get a new key and reinstall the flywheel
also make sure the stator plate is still timed correctly to

1 go buy a manual for the bike.
2. I would check to see if there is a sheared woodruff key on the crank before I went and bought a new FWW.

as for where he gets his part its up to him, i was just helping a fellow rider out
i thought thats what people were here for??
