I have the Keihin carb incoming for my '03 CR. I'm desperately seeking some baseline jetting specs for high altitude riding, and so I am hoping somebody will be willing to scan or photocopy/fax the jetting chart from the MY2000 CR250 owners manual which should have this information (if it's anything like the 2003 owners manual).

Please followup here or PM me if you're willing to help. I just need to see the chart to get ballpark specs and needle part #s etc. to get me started without blowing a bunch of money on experimenting with a myriad of jets and needles.

TIA.

Not sure what high altitude is, but this is close for 4,500ft:

Float Level = 16mm
Pilot = #40
Air Screw = Around 1.25-1.5 Turns Out
Needle = 1370DKA Needle (Out of a '99 CR250), 2nd Clip
Slide = Stock
Main = 168

I would steer clear of the stock '00 needle and go with the one recommended. Good luck.

I'll second that recommendation.

I've had great success with the 1368 needle on several bikes.

I believe the one I use is designated R1368N.

I think you can also find it in some KX500 carbs.
