Cr Keeps Dieing

Hi people I'm new to motocross so don't slate me due to my lack of knowledge.
I recently purchased a 97 cr 125. But whenever I let go of the throttle completly after the revs lower and lower unitl it just dies.
Is there anything I could do to stop this like adjust the idle. Please help.

there should be a screw on your carb. there are generally two, one adjusts the idle and one adjusts the air/fuel richness. (they'll basically end up doing the same thing) i'm not sure which is which on a cr, but try messing with them.

The same knob you pull as the choke can be turned to affect the idle. I personally like less than 5 seconds of idle because the bike will pop and surge going into turns if you have more.
