my 2002 cr80 is leaking from the over flow tube what could be the problem

im not sure because the bike dosent have a dip stick like the four strokes but im thinking that the oil is just not right for the bike i dont think it thick enough because it looks fresh then it comes out the tube but its comin out which mean pressure must be forcing it out

It has oil level screw on the right side clutch cover near the water pump cover. It will be a 10mm hex head with philips screw slots. With the bike sitting level remove the screw/bolt let the excess oil drain out.

No big deal. Everyone gets their fur petted backwards once in a while. With the way my day has gone I was pretty close to pulling the plug. But I didn't.........................

sorry to get this thread back on topic but....

have you thought about getting a manual and looking to see what correct oil is?

if you dont have one i would suggest getting one.

hey guys, i found out that the person that had the bike before me, must have put too much oil in the bike cause it stopped leaking and i changed the oil and it was the proper amount(called dealership and asked) but i changed the oil anyway and i leaked a few drips and didnt do it anymore, but thanks guys
