My brother has a crf 230. he was riding at the sand dunes one day and it started to blow out bluish white exaust very thick. we checked the compresion and it is normal. some people say that the oil is probably to thin so we got the special yamalube stuff and it still smokes does any one know what the problem could be???
crf 230 smokes. please help

Sounds like a valve issue.

Yeah, you probably bent a valve overreving it in the sand. my advice, if you do a lot of dune running, buy a old two stroke.
