Im in a pickle and dont know what to get. The loud KX 100 or the quiet electric start CRF 230. I will be riding trails and not racing. Other factors that will help me chose is how reliable the bike is and how much maitenance is required. I can fit on either on so either one is a good possible chose. Any advice¿

It all depends on your skill level. If you get the 230, the E-Button is a huge plus for riding in the hills, along with the dependability of a honda, also it has a ton of torque when "unplugged" :aj: . The KX 100 is more of a beginner bike, it is lighter weight and doesn't have near as much power, but would be excellent for a first timer!
Have fun!:yeehaw:

The KX100 is not loud, it may be a little, and i accentuate (sp?), little bit louder than a four stroke when you get it on the pipe. But not much if at all.
Oh so many oppinions here in the land of DRN...Best of luck to you in your decision, hope you get-er-figured out!

10926, try and keep your like topics under the same thread. We can keep helping under the which bike thread instead of starting this one, same end result. Ditto with the Mini bike racing forum topic.;) Thanks

The 230 is a good trail bike. I have one and it is good. If you are looking to buy one I am selling my bike. Around 3,000
