With the head off, and the base nuts off, take a dead blow and strike the the top of the cylinder where the stud goes in,(should be a strong area), hit it forward, then backward. Then try the sides. Once its broke free, it should come right off. Pull it straight up, do not twist the cylinder,(a ring can snag an open port). If it hangs in the intake or exhaust, you can close the ring and remove it. If it hangs in a transfer, you are screwed. If the piston is froze in the bore, you need as large a piece of wood that can fit in the bore, and drive the piston free. If it is stuck at the bottom, shim the cylinder up and pound.
