I have just rebuilt tje top end of an old '74 Suzuki TS250 but I'm having trouble with the carb. I need to replace the low jet because the bike sputters really badly at low RPMs and only kicks in well in the midrange. Someone in the past also wanted to change the slow jet. Their efforts met with less than success. The jet head is pretty stripped and won't jold a screwdriver. And, just to sweeten the pot, the slow jet on this old Mikuni carb is recessed into a hole about 3/8 inches into the carb body and is only accessible to a very small flathead driverdriver. Anyone have any suggestions about how I might remove this jet? I hesitate to drill because if I go too deep I could damage the carb body.

Thanks, y'all. in advance.
