I didn't set the clocks back but my parents did. I don't like daylights savings I can't ride past 5:30 now!! Grrrrrr!!! I always go up to my friends and ride in the evening but now I can't :( ! I'm bummed the only riding I have in washington this time of year is trails and now my trail riding even gets cut short.

Yep, the riding is great, and there's lots close to where I live.

But look at it this way: In 6 months I'll be the one complaining about not being to ride after work :).

Umm; MTRIDER; what does WWII have to do with it? I'm thinking this insanity started in the sixties.
I am sure that if I am mistaken; I will be well aware of it shortly!

i was always told it was for the farmers...all i know is that standard time sucks and we should stick with daylight savings...waking up in the dark is well worth riding until 8pm

I agree! I think daylight savings time works out better, just keep it that way all year long. Now it gets dark at 5:30-6:00. At least last week I could ride until 6:30 or 7:00.

mx547,
During the summer I get almost 18 hours of light and it IS awesome! Nothing like going riding at 8:30 pm and coming home at dusk at 11:00.

Actually daylight savings just ENDED. So if we didn't have it, it would have been dark an hour earlier for the past 6 months

I'm pissed! Right now as I look out the window it is now getting dark and it's only 4:40 PM. Of course there is a snow storm so that really darkened things up. I guess there's not much a guy can do. Come on winter solstice!

I love having the extra hours of sunlight, last ngiht i went for a quick blast on my bike for an hour or so straight after work, came home, loaded up the bike and went out, cant wait for it to be sunnier for longer.
